OVER 50 YEARS IN THE HEATING SECTOR
SINCE 1962
Founded in 1962 as just Zecchi, our company was subsequently transformed and given the new name of Zecchi Riscaldatori Elettrici, or Z.R.E., in December 1993.
The experience we have gained in all these years of designing and producing electric heaters means we can offer high-quality products that will satisfy all customer requirements.
In December 2004 our company moved to its new factory in San Gillio, where its production capacity was greatly expanded thanks to investments in technology, machinery and staff.
ToDAY
Besides electric heaters, we also now produce protective casings for plasticising cylinders and insulating mats, which allow for considerable energy savings.

Consolidate and develop our presence in the Italian, European and worldwide electric heating sectors, increasingly expanding our product range in order to diversify our customer base as much as possible, while continuing to pursue constant improvement so we can supply reliable products and efficient services, made in compliance with law and able to satisfy our customers' needs.
ENDLESS SOLUTIONS IN INDUSTRIAL ELECTRIC HEATING
In June 2013, Z.R.E. acquired production of armoured electric heaters from Sacme S.p.A. (in Pessano con Bornago, near Milan), a historic company founded in 1931 and one of the best known in the sector. We then transferred production to a plant in Leinì (near Turin) in the first months of 2014. In 2016 it was transformed into Teknowatt S.r.l., before being reabsorbed in 2020.
A RELIABLE PARTNER IN THE WORLD MARKET
In 2018 we expanded our production space to about 22,000 square feet when we bought a shed adjacent to the main office and brought in new machinery.
Our company is present with its electric heaters in most world markets, both directly and through agents.
Our vast production range is then completed by the products Hotset GMBH, a German manufacturer for which Z.R.E. is the exclusive agent in Italy.
