Founded in 1962 as Zecchi, our company subsequently changed its name to ZRE (Zecchi Riscaldatori Elettrici) in December 1993.
The experience we've gained over the years in designing and manufacturing electric heaters allows us to offer a high-quality product to meet any customer need.

In addition to electric heaters, we currently produce protective casings for plasticizing cylinders and insulating mats that allow for significant energy savings.

INFINITE SOLUTIONS IN INDUSTRIAL ELECTRIC HEATING
In June 2013, ZRE acquired the production of armored electrical resistors from Sacme Spa (Pessano con Bornago - Milan), a historic company founded in 1931 and among the best known in the sector, and moved production to the Leinì plant (province of Turin) in early 2014. In 2016, it was transformed into Teknowatt srl and reabsorbed in 2020.
In 2018 it was expanded production space of approximately 2000 meters thanks to the acquisition of a warehouse adjacent to the main office and the introduction of new machinery.
RELIABLE PARTNER ON THE GLOBAL MARKET

In June 2025, Thermowatt, part of Ariston Group, acquired a majority stake in ZRE, marking a key strategic step for the company, strengthening its international presence and creating new opportunities for growth and innovation. The operation enables ZRE to access the global network of customers and markets of one of the leading international players in the production of tubular heating elements, serving over 500 customers in more than 100 countries. Our company is present with its electric heaters in most of the world markets, both directly and through agents.
Our vast production range is then completed by the products Hotset GMBH, a German manufacturer for which ZRE is the exclusive agent for Italy.
